The Hope Mission
Back in 2014 we held a week long mission that saw all 18 churches across the Southam Deanery reaching out into their local communities with the “HOPE” of seeing them transformed through the love of God.
And what an amazing week we had as the gospel message was shared at 43 events. In addition approximately 1,500 children heard about Jesus and were blessed by the ministry of Captain Graham Nunn (Church Army) with his school visits and at a mega messy church! So much to thank God for!
Building on the success of Hope 14 a number of events have been taking place since. These include a number of Massive Messy Church’s at the Grange Hall, Southam and a couple of Alpha courses in the Green Man pub at Long Itchington and a Discipleship Explored course at the Harbury Village Club at which puddings and a cheese board were on offer and drinks were bought at the bar!
In October 2016 we started ‘Table Talk’ an opportunity to have meaningful conversations about things that really matter in life, where we can engage with each others’ views and explore these in the light of the Christian faith. Again at the Green Man, Long Itchington we meet at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of each month. We serve a cheeseboard and drinks are available at the bar.
