Cream Teas in Church

St James Church will be open on Saturday 29 September, between 12noon and 5pm.  Why not come and enjoy a cream tea or coffee and cake with us whilst visiting the Retro Revival in the Town Centre.

Important news regarding the Town Churchyard

The Parochial Church Council wish to remind all residents of Southam parish, that when they die they have the right to be buried in the Town Churchyard at St James as long as burial space is avaialble.

As of today (September 2012) there are only ten new spaces remaining in the Town Churchyard, which at the present rate of use will last just over twelve months.

Both Southam Town Council and Stratford District Council can act as burial authorities and both were notified that this situation would arise as early as 1996.  Although there has been considerable contact since that date neither authority has taken any action to date to provide alternative burial space.

Please contact us via email if you have any queries or comments on his matter.
